How do Gulf corals beat the heat?
In summer the
waters temperature is more than 35 C in the Gulf. What will happen if the sea
of Australia was same temperature, life there will disappear? From Prof John
Burt, the emirate’s modern coastline is very young- only 4000 years old. Coral
reef can adapt to difficult changes in the United Arab Emirates in different
ways. Moreover, Prof Burt took some samples of hump coral to UK for testing in
deferent water temperature. In addition through Symbiosis, is how coral live
with zooxanthellae, a kind of algae that lives inside the coral’s body. The
coral tissues provide the shelter. Reef corals body consisting of the same
components of the human bones. There are two methods for breeding coral reef,
first one fragmentation and second one by break down and
growing. Finally, Prof Burt agrees the corals can’t live with higher
waters temperatures if they don’t take care of the reef coral.
